Bright Angel sits on the rim in the historic district, a short walk west along the rim from El Tovar. Its practical distinction is what it is next to: this end of the village is where the corridor trail down into the canyon begins.
If your plan involves being below the rim early, that proximity is worth more than any amenity. If it does not, the difference between this and the other rim-side lodges is mostly rate and availability.
