Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site go to Booking.com and are affiliate links. If you make a booking after following one, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra: the rate you pay is the same as it would be otherwise.
What this does not affect
- Which properties we include. Selection runs on the published criteria on how we select hotels.
- The order we present them in. Listings are ordered by review score and depth, or by drive time, and the ordering rule is stated on each page.
- What we say. Every property page includes reasons not to book it.
Several of the properties we recommend most strongly are budget rooms in Williams, where the commission is smallest. If commission drove our recommendations, the pages would look different.
Properties we cannot link to
The lodges inside Grand Canyon National Park are not sold through the channels we link to. We earn nothing from them, and we still cover them, because a guide to Grand Canyon lodging that omitted them would be incomplete.
For those properties we point to the National Park Service lodging page, which lists the current operators.
How links are marked
Affiliate links open in a new tab and carry rel="nofollow
sponsored". Every page that contains one also carries a short disclosure
near the listings, not only here.
Our Booking.com affiliate identifier is 2147606, which appears in the
outbound URLs.
If you would rather not use them
That is completely fine, and the site is built to be useful either way. Every page is designed to stand on its own: you can read the drive times, the trade-offs and the comparisons, then book directly with the property or wherever you prefer.
